Environmental awareness – for mankind and nature

HWR-CHEMIE GmbH was founded in January 1988 in Munich with the aim of selling environmentally compatible quality products to commercial customers.

The plan right from the very beginning was not to go into mass-production, but to develop, manufacture and market high-quality cleansing and disinfectant concentrates and maintenance products. These products should be as user-friendly as possible, i.e. risks to the user from the products themselves were to be avoided.

The hazard potential was to be reduced to an acceptable minimum in those application areas where total risk elimination was not possible. An important criterion was also to maintain the value of the objects to be cleaned.

The consistent pursuance of this company objective and the resultant success meant that the leased property in Munich soon proved to be too small. HWR-CHEMIE found a suitable site in Emmering, situated 20 km to the west of Munich, and the company moved into the new company premises in December 1994.

Equipped with spacious and modern offices, development and test laboratories, production and storage facilities, a team of qualified specialists devotes itself here to the fields of hygiene, cleaning and disinfection.

Due to the growing demand from abroad, HWR-CHEMIE is now represented by sales partners in several European countries.
