Sealed and approved quality
Environmental protection and quality assurance are the
fundamental principles of our company policy.
We are particularly concerned with the preservation of
our natural environment and therefore the basic
necessities of life for future generations, just as we
strive to create and maintain a high standard of
quality in all areas of the company.
For this reason, HWR-CHEMIE has established a
comprehensive quality and environmental management
system and had it certified in accordance with the
international standards DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO
14001. Our structural organisation, our quality and
environmental goals, the responsibilities of all
specialist departments, as well as the measures
implemented with regards to quality assurance and
environmental protection, monitoring and documentation
are all defined in the HWR Company Manual for Quality
and the Environment
For us, this means sparing and controlled usage of all
the resources we need, such as energy and water,
materials, machinery and manufacturing processes, in
addition to waste and effluent management. We lay
particular emphasis on the design of environmentally
friendly products. We want to avoid or reduce the use
of all substances which are harmful to the environment
wherever possible. Human and environmental safety is
also an important element of our environmental
programme.
DIN EN ISO 9001 is recognised worldwide as a guarantee
for quality, similar status is enjoyed by DIN EN ISO
14001 as a guarantee for environmental protection.
